Is OpenStays.AI free?
Yes. Property Passports are free and OpenStays.AI charges no booking commission. Add your property website and we will prepare a private draft for you to review before publication.
Does OpenStays.AI charge booking commission?
No. OpenStays.AI takes 0% booking commission. Airbnb can take around 17% in service fees; OpenStays.AI is not an OTA and does not sit between you and the guest.
Do guests book through OpenStays.AI?
No. OpenStays.AI does not process bookings or payments. Guests contact or book through the owner or agency domain shown on the profile, so you keep the direct relationship.
What is an OpenStays Property Passport?
It is the owner-created, portable collection of facts about a property. It remains open to the owner, who can update it, take it away and choose which approved details AI agents retrieve from OpenStays.AI.
Why should owners create one?
AI travel agents need clear facts they can read and compare. A Property Passport helps agents understand who the stay suits and directs interested guests to the owner’s verified booking route.
Does OpenStays.AI verify properties?
OpenStays.AI does not manually inspect properties, manually verify ownership or guarantee stays. OpenStays.AI uses automated confidence signals and public score breakdowns.
Will my exact address be public?
Only if you choose exact address visibility. By default, OpenStays.AI shows approximate area only.
Does OpenStays.AI show live rates or availability?
No. V1 does not expose live rates or live availability. Future versions may expose permissioned owner/PMS-provided direct-booking URL, availability-summary and rate-summary signals, without processing payment or becoming merchant of record.
