OpenStays can stay free because we keep the job narrow and the operating model lightweight.
We do not run the expensive parts of a booking platform: guest checkout, deposits, payouts, escrow, chargebacks or booking disputes.

The basic manual profile stays free. Over time, OpenStays may offer optional value-added services such as URL auto-setup, agency bulk import, data-quality tools, premium B2B API/MCP access and AI-driven enquiry tools. Those are not booking payments and not a percentage of bookings.
