OpenStays terms

OpenStays.ai is an index and profile layer for direct-bookable stays. It helps owners and agencies publish structured property information that people, search engines and AI travel agents can understand.

OpenStays is not a booking agent, travel agency, payment processor, merchant of record, escrow provider, property manager, insurance provider or property inspector.

You may need to verify your email before creating, saving, editing or publishing profiles. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and for activity under your OpenStays session.

We may suspend or remove accounts, profiles or API access if we believe they are inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, abusive, unsafe, infringing, spammy, or harmful to OpenStays or its users.

You must have the right and authority to publish the property, media, descriptions, URLs and other information you submit.

You are responsible for keeping profile information accurate, lawful, current and not misleading, including location, suitability, fees, policies, accessibility notes, safety notes, images and booking/contact routes.

Published profiles are public and may be indexed, copied, cached, summarised or used by search engines, AI systems, travel agents and other third parties. Do not publish information you want to keep private.

If you request one-click setup or AI-assisted drafting, OpenStays may use public/submitted property pages and AI tools to prepare a draft profile. Drafts may be imperfect and must be reviewed before publication.

Nothing should go public until you approve and publish it. You remain responsible for the final profile content.

OpenStays points people and agents to the owner or agency contact/booking route shown on a profile. Any booking, payment, cancellation, refund, deposit, damage, dispute, tax, licence, regulatory or guest-service issue is between the guest and the owner/agency or their chosen booking provider.

OpenStays does not guarantee property quality, availability, rates, legality, safety, accessibility, suitability, ownership, response times, bookings, revenue or AI-agent recommendations.

Do not submit false, copied, unlawful, discriminatory, unsafe, private, infringing, malicious or spammy content.

Do not use OpenStays to scrape private data, attack systems, impersonate others, misrepresent properties, manipulate scores, bypass access controls, or publish content you do not have rights to use.

Manual listings are currently free and OpenStays charges no booking commission. If pricing changes in future, we will make the applicable terms clear before charging. No hidden payment goblins. We dislike those too.

Promotional setup offers, including the free-until-31-July offer, may be changed, paused or withdrawn for new requests, but existing accepted requests should be handled according to the promise shown when submitted where reasonably possible.

You keep rights in content you submit, but grant OpenStays the permission needed to host, display, format, transform, publish, index, distribute and make it machine-readable as part of the service.

OpenStays, its product design, code, branding and generated service materials remain owned by their respective owners. You may link to your public profile and use OpenStays badges where provided.

You can edit or unpublish your own profiles from the dashboard where available. For removal, correction, rights, privacy, infringement or safety concerns, email privacy@openstays.ai with enough detail for us to identify the profile.

OpenStays is provided on an early-stage, as-is basis. We will try to run it responsibly, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy, or that every AI/search system will read profiles correctly.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OpenStays is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, punitive or lost-profit damages, or for disputes arising from bookings, properties, guests, owners, agencies or third-party services.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of OpenStays after changes means you accept the updated terms.
