Search public, owner-approved Property Passports without downloading the whole OpenStays catalogue.

Stateless Streamable HTTP, MCP protocol 2026-07-28. No developer key is required for ordinary read-only searches. An optional developer key provides higher quotas for approved integrations.

search_stays

Search public Property Passports within one country or territory. Country alone is enough. Town, region, bedrooms, guest capacity and property type are optional refinements. Returns up to 10 matching accommodation units, preferring different Property Passports. No catalogue export, total count or pagination. These tools do not check live prices or availability.

get_property_passport

Retrieves one exact Property Passport from a canonical OpenStays URL returned by search.

Controlled discovery

There is no list-all tool, bulk export, offset, catalogue count or recently-updated feed. Anonymous and optional keyed rate limits add abuse friction. Public Property Passport pages remain individually accessible and may still be crawled by a determined scraper.
