Yelverton Brook Conservation Sanctuary is a family-owned accommodation business within a privately owned 100-acre wildlife sanctuary in Western Australia's Margaret River region. Three two-bedroom Lodges and two one-bedroom Studios are each privately positioned in separate bushland clearings. A special part of staying at Yelverton Brook is that the wildlife comes to you. Friendly western grey kangaroos, possums, bandicoots and native birds regularly visit around the Lodges and Studios, giving guests the opportunity for close wildlife encounters and, with the supplied wildlife food and guidance, to hand-feed some of the animals right from their doorstep. Guests can also explore walking trails through the sanctuary and enjoy the peace, privacy and natural bushland setting. The owners found the property in 1988, began welcoming guests in 1992 and later established the predator-protected conservation sanctuary.
